A great idea was put to me today by ChicagoCruiser919,  many people are staying in either Sydney or Melbourne a few days before the cruise, its another great time to meet up with others. So are there any Boomerangs that are staying in either city before the cruise who would like to catch up with others Boomerangs? 

I never thought that this site would be as busy as it has been, but it has, it’s certainly kept me on my toes!! It’s not just the hits, it’s the stats, they show that people are very interested in the site and what has been offered!!
It’s been many months of work and research all into the one place, it is still evolving and I hope that long after the cruise this site can be a benefit to others and a great source on information.

Have a look at the Airlie Beach page, I have added a bunch of tour options and ideas… After speaking with a tour operator it was explained to be careful fo what tour you pick as the times may not match up with when you need to be on or off the ship. Also many tours are booked out very quickly for groups. It’s not the end of the world though, should you ever have more time to spend in Airlie Beach you will know what other options are available!! 🙂

There has been a bit of confusion regarding the Roll Call, the site and the threads……

There are two threads going one is the 14th March Melb-Melb Cruise and the other 16th March Syd-Syd cruise. Some people have opted to add the repositioning adding a melb-syd leg, so you are included too.
All this is under the same umbrella “Dawn Boomerangs”, the name made because of the way the trip is, just like a Boomerang.
Rather than posting in both threads the same thing it’s easier to post in one, after all we are all going to be in most of the same places (bar Tasmania for the Melb-Melb 25 day cruise).  There has been attempts to merge the threads but thus far no luck so the two threads is what we have.
 
As for who is looking after the Roll Call it is both myself (MissusH) and Redhat,.
Redhat began the Syd-Syd thread and the Melb-Melb was started by someone who is not longer doing the cruise and asked for someone to take over the roll call thread, so we just combined forces
